Changing Roles and Needs
|
Adult
children want the best for their aging parents. They want them to
retain their
independence and dignity for as long as possible, and to transition
gracefully
into more supportive settings if it becomes necessary. They also want
–and need – a
way to process their own
feelings as family roles change and parents need their help in
unfamiliar ways.
And importantly, the aging family member needs ongoing support during
the
difficult adjustments and transitions of aging. At Family
Aging Resources, the goal is to make the aging process as
positive as possible for everyone
involved. With years of clinical expertise in aging issues, we can help
with the
myriad of challenges you face – from helping you make
informed choices about
services and facilities to providing you with new ways to cope with
emotional
ups-and-downs. |
